Civil Engineer - Transportation Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineer to lead transportation infrastructure projects at TKDA. This role involves working on inclusive, sustainable, and welcoming facilities that support community engagement and elevate quality of living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead site design for public and private transportation projects, including grading, roadway access, utility infrastructure, stormwater management systems, and facility design.
  • Oversee technical, quality, and financial aspects of projects from conception through construction, collaborating with professionals in civil, architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural disciplines.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure integrated project delivery, engage with clients to understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Professional Engineer registration in the State of Washington.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical design experience with site development projects, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and progressive project management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to coach and mentor less experienced professionals, and flexibility for limited travel.
Estimated Salary: $45-$55 per hour
