Job Title: Signal Processing Systems Engineer

Raytheon is seeking a skilled Signal Processing Systems Engineer to join our systems engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other engineering personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical analyses and define how the system works, creating use cases, system capability, and feature designs, defining system interfaces and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with the Raytheon systems engineering teams to design and develop software.
  • Assist in providing technical information and clarification during the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to development, testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Apply systems engineering expertise to feature designs to reduce overall risk to the software development effort.
  • Engage with customer user representatives or subject matter experts to gather user needs and incorporate into the feature designs for the agile development teams.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of experience may be considered.
  • S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an Agile development team environment with multi-discipline engineers and stakeholders, developing system solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Experience performing design with cross-disciplined engineering teams.
  • Experience working in the software development lifecycle.
  • SIGINT, GEOINT, or Multi-INT Intelligence Community (IC) background with end-user mission experience.
