Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Premier Health. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of exercise programs for patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Exercise Program Planning and Supervision: Develop and implement exercise programs for patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, ensuring a safe and effective rehabilitation experience.
- Patient Counseling and Education: Provide education and counseling to patients on the importance of exercise and healthy lifestyle habits, promoting long-term health and wellness.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing personalized exercise plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field is required.
- Experience: Experience in cardiac monitoring and exercise program planning is essential.
- Certification: Certification or experience equivalent to an exercise specialist by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) is required.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Master's degree in rehabilitative exercise physiology or a related field.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
