Job Summary:

Premier Health is seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a critical role in the interdisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for patients across the lifespan, taking into account social and cultural diversity.
  • Develop and implement exercise programs for cardiovascular and pulmonary patients.
  • Supervise and counsel patients on exercise and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field.
  • Experience in cardiac monitoring and exercise program planning.
  • Certification or experience equivalent to an exercise specialist by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in rehabilitative exercise physiology or a related field.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
