We are seeking a skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Premier Health. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement exercise programs for patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy lifestyle habits and disease management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in exercise physiology.
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or a related field.
- Experience in cardiac monitoring and exercise program planning.
- Certification as an exercise specialist by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Master's degree in rehabilitative exercise physiology or a related field.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
