Job Overview

As a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager at Vail Resorts, you will play a key role in the success of our restaurants and bars. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Ensure that all staff members are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and service, including food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and other operational expenses.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage General Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry 40+ pounds.
  • ServSafe Certification (or ability to acquire).
