Job Overview

The Care Coordinator role at Knox Area Rescue Ministries is responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to program participants. This involves creating personalized plans that address individual needs, challenges, and progress milestones. The coordinator will also facilitate ongoing plan adjustments and lead a team of volunteers who work closely with participants.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain the consistent application of program standards and guidelines across all services.
  • Establish strong relationships with participants to promote a balanced Christian life.
  • Regularly meet with participants to ensure they are fully utilizing KARM programs and services.
  • Make informed referrals for internal and external services as needed.
Key Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, counseling, or ministry.
  • A genuine interest in working with homeless individuals and those struggling with substance abuse and mental health challenges.
  • The ability to clearly explain and present the Christian plan of salvation.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
