Position Overview:
Torch Technologies is seeking an IT Specialist to provide essential support to the Joint Counter small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office (JCO). The JCO plays a critical role in synchronizing and integrating efforts related to counter small unmanned aircraft systems for various stakeholders within the Department of Defense. The selected candidate will be responsible for a range of IT functions that facilitate the effective operation and maintenance of the JCO's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the inventory management of both unclassified and classified IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist users with troubleshooting issues related to the Microsoft Office suite and Department of Defense software applications.
- Establish and manage user accounts across classified and unclassified systems.
- Conduct minor hardware maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Identify and recommend software solutions to improve organizational efficiency.
- Collaborate with higher-level IT organizations to facilitate repairs, troubleshooting, system upgrades, and other IT-related concerns.
Qualifications:
- Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.
- Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
U.S. Citizenship Required for this Position: Yes
Job Type: Full time
Security Clearance: Secret, Top Secret preferred.
Schedule: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Travel: 0-10%
