  • Commitment is on a course-by-course basis, allowing faculty members to choose the courses that best fit their schedule and expertise.
Responsibilities

As a visiting professor of project management, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Organizing and leading engaging and interactive classes, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.
  • Using technology to enhance the learning experience, including online discussions, assignments, and assessments.
  • Providing clear and timely feedback to students, including grades and comments.
  • Staying current with industry developments and best practices in project management.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A terminal degree (PhD, DBA, JD, Ed.D.) in a relevant field, with 18 graduate hours in project management.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Experience in project management, with a strong understanding of industry best practices and methodologies.
Compensation

Visiting professor pay is based on degree, credit hours taught per 8-week session, and location. Pay may vary in most states from $1500-$2700 per 8-week session, while pay in the states of AZ, CA, IN, and PA is paid at an hourly rate of either $22.00/hour or $23.50/hour.
