We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced psychiatrist to join our team as an Assistant, Associate, or Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

Job Summary

We are seeking a residency-trained, board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrist to join our team as an Assistant, Associate, or Professor in Psychiatry. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in clinical care, teaching, administration, and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and other health professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
  • Participate in research and scholarly activities
Requirements
  • MD/DO degree or equivalent
  • Completion of residency in Psychiatry
  • Board eligibility/board certification in Adult Psychiatry by the American Psychiatric Association
  • Current licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure, to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in providing psychiatric services
  • Experience in teaching medical students, residents, and other health professionals
