Job Overview

Lake Granbury Medical Center is a 73-bed community healthcare provider seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Perinatal Services team.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to work in our 8 bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in perinatal care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor laboring patients and assist with delivery of infants
  • Administer IV medication, anesthesia, and pain management medication as needed
  • Implement safety and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Continuously educate patients and families on perinatal care and health education
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
  • At least two years of experience in perinatal care
  • BLS and ACLS certification upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Intermediate and/or Advanced certification

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
