We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company. As a Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting medical histories, performing venipuncture, taking manual blood pressures, and collecting urine specimens from patients in their homes, workplaces, or specified locations.
Key Responsibilities- Collect medical histories and perform venipuncture, manual blood pressure, and urine specimen collection
- Work independently as an on-call and at-will employee, choosing your own schedule and locations
- Manage your own calendar of availability and work at your own pace
- Meet the requirements for a Louisiana State Phlebotomy License from the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners
- Have a minimum of 100 successful practical blood draws and be skilled in taking manual blood pressures and pulses
- Have reliable transportation and current auto insurance, unless taking public transportation
- Have your own computer, internet, cell phone, printer, and scanner
- Be bi-lingual and have EKG experience, although not required
