Bristol Myers Squibb is a leading biopharmaceutical company committed to transforming patients' lives through science. We are seeking an experienced Senior Counsel, Regulatory Law to join our team.
As a Senior Counsel, you will play a critical role in providing legal support to various stakeholders within Global Medical, Global Commercialization Excellence, and Business Insights and Technology. Your primary responsibility will be to establish professional credibility and relationships with executive-level commercialization colleagues, working effectively across a wide array of issues and stakeholders independently and in collaboration with Law Department colleagues.
We are looking for a skilled attorney with at least five to eight years of legal, regulatory, and/or compliance experience, preferably with a law firm that advises companies in highly regulated industries or in-house at a pharmaceutical or biotech or medical device company. You will also possess demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across the business and within the Law Department, prioritize and manage multiple projects under deadline pressure, and communicate complex issues clearly, verbally and in writing.
In this role, you will anticipate and proactively identify legal issues, provide clear, operational, and effective legal advice that supports informed decisions, and apply an enterprise view. You will also collaborate across the Law Department matrix to ensure delivery of seamless, comprehensive legal advice, deliver effective presentations to Law Department and Business Units, lead and organize functional or substantive working groups assessing significant legal issues, and leverage knowledge of emerging legal and industry issues and trends to inform advice and address potential legal risk.
Our company offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Additionally, we offer opportunities for career growth and development, a diverse and inclusive work environment, and a commitment to giving back to the community.
