CLIENT FULFILLMENT SPECIALIST

(Hybrid Role)

Department: Customer Service

Reports To: Customer Fulfillment Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Position Summary:

The Client Fulfillment Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to ensure a satisfying experience for every customer interaction.

This position involves receiving and processing orders, confirming customer accounts, product details, pricing, and shipping particulars.

Engagement with customers is conducted through various communication channels to verify order specifics, provide updates, address inquiries, and resolve issues, all while upholding a positive representation of the company. Building and nurturing a loyal customer base through proactive engagement, understanding needs, suggesting products, and delivering outstanding service is essential.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

A high school diploma or GED is mandatory. A college degree or relevant work experience is preferred. CTS certification is advantageous. A minimum of 2-3 years in Customer Service is required, with familiarity in the Audio/Video or IT sectors being beneficial.

Strong communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, data entry proficiency, multitasking capabilities, and problem-solving skills are essential. A willingness to learn and embrace new challenges is necessary. Team collaboration is vital. Proficiency in computer applications, video conferencing tools, and Microsoft Office is required. The ability to listen, comprehend, and convey information effectively both verbally and in writing is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive and input orders, ensuring confirmation of order status and product availability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fulfill orders.
  • Verify customer accounts and payment terms, processing payments as needed.
  • Address customer inquiries through email and phone communications.
  • Provide information on product lead times, shipment tracking, and other requested details.
  • Encourage sales of new or additional products and services.
  • Escalate unresolved customer issues to the appropriate departments or management for further resolution.
  • Stay updated on technical knowledge and apply new insights to the role.
  • Meet team objectives and adhere to designated work hours.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional light physical effort may be required.
  • Prolonged viewing of computer screens is necessary.

Work Environment:

  • This position is situated in an indoor office setting.

The Client Fulfillment Specialist role offers various career progression opportunities. Within the Sales Department, advancement to Customer Fulfillment Supervisor or Business Development Manager is possible. Alternatively, a transition to Inside Sales or Technical Marketing may be pursued.
