Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Surveyor - Metrology Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a Field Surveyor - Metrology Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and metrology for industrial and refinery sites, utilizing advanced equipment such as total stations, data collectors, laser scanners, and laser tracker equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with Project Managers on specific tasks for jobs, compile data on site, and analyze data to ensure accurate results.
• Operate with total stations, data collectors, laser scanners, and laser tracker equipment to conduct land surveys and metrology for industrial and refinery sites.
• Utilize AutoCAD/Civil 3D to assist the civil and survey CAD team and create elevation and alignment plans based on the data.
• Collaborate with the Department Manager, a Civil Engineer specializing in laser scanning, industrial control, and 3D modeling for heavy industrial clients.

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position that requires the ability to work closely with the Department Manager and other teams. The role involves working with industrial clients in steel, oil and gas, and power generation sectors, with clients in various locations. The individual will be in the office or on a job site and must be able to utilize their own vehicle.
