Substance Abuse Counselor Opportunity

NaphCare is seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at the Middlesex County Department of Corrections in North Brunswick, NJ.

As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will conduct weekly group counseling sessions for male and female inmates with Opioid Use Disorder, providing psychoeducation and support to help them overcome addiction.

You will also be responsible for data collection and data entry, working closely with our onsite clinical teams to provide excellence in care to our patients.

We value experience working in corrections, but it is not required. What is essential is your passion for helping others and your commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with license (LAC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC) required, but LCADC preferred
