About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team at Jobot. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage our company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.
  • Manage the activities of the accounts payable department to ensure the accurate and timely payment of invoices, purchase orders, etc.
  • Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash receipts, and collections.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results for each department.
  • Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
  • Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities.
  • Oversee the preparation and management of company-wide budgets.
  • Prepare and present financial reports for managers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency in the finance department.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
  • Proven experience in managing a team.
  • Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and systems.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Strong business and common sense.
