As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will play a critical role in guiding new homebuyers through the loan process, from application to settlement. Your expertise will be essential in prequalifying prospective buyers, reviewing financing options, and assisting with credit-challenged purchasers. You will serve as the primary point of contact for homebuyers with NVR Mortgage throughout the homebuying process. Your responsibilities will include:

* Staying up-to-date on available loan programs and competing with lenders to earn customer business
* Originating high-quality loan applications and submitting them to the processing department
* Maintaining regular contact with borrowers, brokers, and NVR Mortgage branch personnel to answer questions and share loan status
* Developing strong partnerships with the NVR Homebuilding Sales team to support sales goals
* Educating sales and marketing team members on industry changes and new product offerings

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* National and State licensing requirements
* At least 2 years of experience in conventional and government loans
* Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHA, and State housing loans
* Excellent selling, customer service, and vocational skills
