Introduction

HCA Florida Putnam Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service and patient care, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every interaction.
  • Champion HCA Florida Putnam Hospital's mission, vision, and values, adhering to policies and procedures, ethical standards, and code of conduct.
  • Verify physician orders prior to completing examinations and perform CT scans according to patient physician instructions.
  • Perform invasive procedures according to established protocols and special instructions from radiologists or patient physicians.
  • Ensure all necessary supplies are stocked and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • Document accurate patient information and perform accurate computer functions.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; (CT) preferred.
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program.
  • One year hospital experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of ARRT and ACR protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of ALARA dosage.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
