We are currently in search of skilled individuals for full-time positions as PC-12NG and PC-12 Legacy Captains, responsible for Single Pilot Air Ambulance operations.

This position will be based at our air base.

Compensation Structure:
  • Base Salary: $85,874 - $122,740 (calculated based on $56.20 per hour for 2184 hours annually). Actual hourly compensation will vary based on experience.

Incentives:
  • $30,000 annual staffing incentive. First-year total compensation for candidates without EMS experience starts at $115,874.
Paid over 26 pay periods, amounting to $1,153.85 each.

Location Bonus:
$10,000 offer for those residing within a specified distance from the airport, activated upon relocation.
Paid over 12 months, totaling $833.33 monthly.

Relocation Support:
  • $7,500 reimbursement for relocation expenses upon submission of receipts.
All pilots may be subject to specific work conditions while fulfilling their duties.

These conditions include, but are not limited to:

Performing essential job functions in a static or moving aircraft, potentially in outdoor environments (including adverse weather, temperature extremes, and rugged terrain), exposure to noise and vibration, and the possibility of unexpected aircraft depressurization at high altitudes, as well as interaction with patients who may have known or unknown infectious diseases.

Pilots are required to participate in an ongoing random drug testing program as mandated by DOT/FAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for the safe and effective operation of aircraft in compliance with federal regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.
Exhibit strong independent critical thinking skills during preflight planning and operational procedures.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations, policies, and procedures.
Communicate effectively and promptly with team members, communication specialists, and patients/families.
Ensure aircraft cleanliness and functionality, maintaining a safe environment for all.
Evaluate transport criteria and guidelines as defined by service standards.
Actively pursue personal development and contribute to the education and growth of peers.

Assistance to Medical Crew:
Support tasks such as moving equipment, assisting with patient loading and unloading, replenishing aircraft oxygen, and other necessary duties.
When serving as Lead Pilot, responsible for overseeing and managing satellite base operations.

As an Instructor Pilot and/or Check Pilot, accountable for assessing pilot performance, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to ongoing training and quality improvement programs.

As a Safety Representative, responsible for monitoring safety concerns and facilitating resolutions to safety-related issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

Fixed Wing Pilot in Command:

Must possess a Commercial certificate with the appropriate category and class ratings, including instrument airplane, or an ATP certificate with multi-engine land rating and commercial single-engine land privileges.

Minimum of 2500 flight hours in airplanes.
200 flight hours at night.
300 flight hours instrument, with 100 in actual instrument conditions.
500 Pilot in Command flight hours in a multi-engine airplane.
500 Pilot in Command flight hours in a turbine airplane.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in EMS operations.
King Air 90/200 PIC time: 100 hours.
PC-12 PIC time: 50 hours.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to interact with others, requiring verbal communication and comprehension of spoken information.
Capable of supporting the weight of aviation and clinical equipment during transport. Must be able to push or pull portable equipment, including heavy items.
Expected to lift and utilize a full range of motion to transfer patients. Will also need to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
Ability to ascend and descend stairs to and from aircraft.
Operate aviation equipment, tools, computers, and devices requiring dexterity and hand movement.
