Job Overview:


The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing routine and emergency maintenance on various aircraft systems and components. This includes, but is not limited to, flight control systems, engines, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

The technician will utilize their technical expertise in airframe and power plant systems to identify equipment failures and assess airworthiness.

They will leverage their skills to restore aircraft to a safe operating condition by interpreting technical documentation, including manufacturer manuals, Airworthiness Directives, and Technical Bulletins.

Responsibilities include conducting daily maintenance on aircraft at designated locations.
Plan, coordinate, and execute scheduled maintenance and inspections efficiently.
Maintain and document aircraft records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor aircraft inspection schedules, component due dates, and task completion in a computerized system.
Ensure that company-owned tools and equipment are well-maintained and calibrated as necessary.
Assist in the transportation of equipment and supplies as needed.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in aviation technology.

Minimum Requirements:
Possession of a current Federal Aviation Airframe & Power Plant license.
A minimum of five years of experience in aviation maintenance.
Proficient knowledge of both fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft along with their respective turbine engines.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multiple aircraft types, including factory training on Fixed-wing (B200 King Air) and Helicopter (Augusta A109).
Experience in structural sheet metal work.
Advanced training or experience in troubleshooting techniques.

Physical Demands:
Ability to communicate effectively and comprehend spoken information.
Capable of lifting and transporting aviation parts and equipment, including heavy items.
Expected to perform a full range of motion to handle parts, tools, and equipment. This may include bending to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies.
May require prolonged periods of standing or sitting.
Ability to ascend and descend stairs to access aircraft.
Capable of raising or lowering objects between different levels.
Proficient in operating aviation maintenance tools, computers, and devices requiring dexterity.
Ability to read and interpret various monitors and documents.
Capable of moving around in confined spaces within aircraft.

Ability to lower the body by bending at the hips and knees or placing weight on one or both knees.
