Job Summary:

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join our team in Denver, CO. As a key member of our labor and employment law practice, you will be responsible for defending and litigating lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend and Litigate Employment-Related Claims: Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
  • Advise and Counsel Employers: Provide guidance on various employment and labor law issues, including compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency procedures.
  • Train and Educate Employers: Develop and deliver training programs to help employers understand and comply with employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • JD from ABA Accredited Law School: Possess a Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school.
  • Employment Law Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience in employment or commercial litigation.
  • Current CO Bar Admission: Be a member in good standing of the Colorado Bar.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and judges.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.
  • Ability to Multitask: Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
