With a surge in demand, we are on the lookout for Field Service Technicians who possess a passion for travel. These roles will primarily operate from a remote base but will require extensive travel to various job sites, often out-of-state, for extended periods to meet service obligations. A significant portion of our clientele is situated east of the Mississippi River.

Your training will be personalized, conducted in the field by an experienced technician, ensuring you gain the necessary skills and knowledge. All travel-related expenses will be covered by the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to various locations as required to meet service needs
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Educate operators on proper machine care and operation
  • Perform repairs on machinery as necessary
  • Act as the representative of Earthborne to our esteemed clients and their personnel
  • Service regular clients in accordance with long-term maintenance agreements, visiting each machine quarterly
  • Be prepared to travel extensively, up to three weeks each month

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service
  • A minimum of 3 years in diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery or similar equipment
  • Preferred experience with tree care or forestry machinery
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Proficiency with hand, air, and electrical tools
  • Capability to consistently repair equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Able to work independently and make field decisions
  • Possess basic tools necessary for equipment repair
  • Valid driving record; CDL is a plus but not mandatory
