Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Warehouse Associate to join our team at Gemaire Distributors, LLC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for procuring, processing, dispatching, and delivering/transporting products to customers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload products daily
  • Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers
  • Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise
  • Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy
  • Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed
  • Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager
  • Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns
  • Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device
  • Assist with physical inventory and inventory control
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped

Requirements:

  • Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16' minimum box truck, or stake bed truck
  • Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines
  • Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service
  • A willingness to learn and grow with our Company
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
