We're looking for a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team in San Antonio, Kyle XDT, and Austin. As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Delivery Manager with directing the delivery and warehouse operations in the assigned location.



Responsibilities



  • Act as Manager on Duty - When the Delivery Manager is absent, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and warehouse operations.

  • Ensure Compliance - You will assist the Delivery Manager to ensure all operations are operating in compliance with DOT and OSHA requirements.

  • Delivery and Quality Standards - You will assist the delivery department in accomplishing delivery and quality standards.

  • Ride Behind and Evaluations - You will conduct ride behinds and evaluations of contractors to determine skill levels and development opportunities.

  • Claims and Vehicle Maintenance - You will ensure all claims are charged back to the appropriate driver and ensure that maintenance of all delivery and service vehicles are completed.

  • Scheduling and Routing - You will ensure that the scheduling department achieves all daily shipping goals and manage routing team to include cost control and efficiency.

  • Team Relationship - You will establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all team members and other store personnel.

  • Loading and Inventory Control - You will oversee accurate and efficient loading of all vehicles for the delivery of retail home products to the end consumer (last mile) and oversee the warehouse and inventory control processes to ensure the inventory's integrity is maintained.



Requirements



  • Availability - You must be able to work a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

  • Communication - You must have effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Education and Experience - You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent education and previous experience in Warehouse or Distribution operations.

  • Microsoft Office - You must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Driver's License - You must have a valid Driver's License.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Located in San Antonio, Kyle XDT, and Austin, this role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
