POSITION SUMMARY

Support warehouse staff with the scheduling, documentation, transportation, and storage of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify purchase orders against packing slips.
  • Inspect incoming shipments to ensure they correspond with the packing list.
  • Receive and acknowledge deliveries.
  • Unload goods from delivery vehicles.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing for vendor returns, ensuring accurate paperwork and proper carrier loading.
  • Organize and store received materials in designated areas.
  • Update inventory records to reflect received items.
  • Maintain documentation of orders, items sent for outsourcing, and delivery specifics.
  • Transfer inventory to appropriate vendors for outsourced work.
  • Collaborate with Production Control to facilitate the shipping of work-in-progress items as necessary.
  • Generate and process invoices.
  • Schedule transportation for shipping finished products as required.
  • Create internal documentation for parts transferred to the main facility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Proficient in general computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.

Familiarity with data entry and inventory management software.

Experience operating forklifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience in a warehouse setting.

Intermediate skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic, typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent, or a two-year degree program.


Compensation details: $21-$23 hourly salary.
