About Our Team

The Behavioral Health Outpatient team at The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh is dedicated to providing high-quality care to children, adolescents, and young adults. Our team of therapists and Certified Nurse Practitioner work closely with each client and their family to develop skills to manage mood, thinking, and behaviors, promoting resiliency and healing.

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will provide evidence-based treatment to children and their families within a school setting, in accordance with our agency's vision and mission. You will participate in supervision, case consultation conferences, and agency meetings, and serve as an ambassador for the promotion of The Children's Institute.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field
  • Master's prepared clinician practicum required
  • Three years' experience working as a behavioral health clinician with children/families with diverse cultures, and children with disabilities (sensory, cognitive, physical) preferred
  • Credentialing with managed care organizations preferred
