Fraud Prevention Squad Leader

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fraud Prevention Squad Leader to join our team at Fidelity Investments. As a key member of our Financial Intelligence Unit, you will be responsible for leading the development of Customer Fraud Risk (CFR) prevention products and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and maintain product backlog, prioritizing items based on fraud prevention, customer experience, and operational efficiency needs
  • Set strategic direction for AI/ML workstreams around data identification, collection, and qualification activities
  • Provide clarity on user stories and features to the data science and engineering team
  • Supervise all stages of product creation, including design and development
  • Ensure the product roadmap aligns with the overall Prevention and Detection Product Area vision and goals
  • Collaborate with customer experience owners and business technology teams to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
  • Work in an agile environment to refine priorities and outline expectations
  • Be open to change and ready to adjust based on feedback
  • Coordinate sprints and scheduling releases
  • Serve as the technical liaison to the supported business groups
  • Lead CFR business integration activities
  • Produce product performance metrics and use them to identify improvement opportunities
  • Prepare business presentations to demonstrate results and alignment to expected outcomes
  • Build daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Stay informed about new technologies and product features and how they can be used to our advantage
Requirements:
  • Understanding of fraud landscape, business use cases, money movement, payments, and account maintenance customer experiences and brokerage platforms capabilities
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and team members to drive collaboration and alignment through positive relationships
  • Experience driving end-to-end delivery of AI/ML, data-driven intelligence solutions
  • Background in launching products or services in partnership with engineering teams in an iterative manner
  • Balanced technical engineering/architecture knowledge and business acuity
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of product development experience
  • Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Excel, and BI analytics tools
