About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Docketing Administrator to join our dynamic Litigation team at Fredrikson & Byron. This role involves monitoring court dockets, calculating litigation deadlines, and managing docketing tasks across various jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor federal and state court dockets to ensure accurate and timely docketing.
  • Research and calculate rules-based litigation deadlines for accurate docketing and entry into the firm's system.
  • Respond to requests regarding calendar reports and deadline calculations.
  • Undertake special projects and additional duties as needed.
  • Utilize CourtAlert for effective docket management.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of recent litigation experience, preferably with docketing experience using rules-based software.
  • Experience with Minnesota and/or Iowa courts is a plus.
  • Proactive self-starter who values team collaboration.
  • Proficient in database management, data entry control, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting litigation in multiple states, including both federal and state jurisdictions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
