Job Title: Senior Internal Communications Officer

At the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Communications Officer to join our Communications Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in informing, engaging, and motivating Bank staff through strategic internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Communications Planning: Regularly engage with Bank leadership stakeholders to understand their key priorities and craft strategic communications plans and tactics to effectively convey their initiatives to Bank staff.
  • Communication Campaigns: Take ownership of communication campaigns from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of pertinent information to staff across the Bank through optimal communication channels tailored to their requirements.
  • Communications Advice: Provide strategic communications advice to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Staff Communications: Oversee the creation of various staff communications, including emails, articles, newsletters, and digital signage.
  • Content Management: Assist in managing and curating content for diverse communication channels, keeping abreast of trends, best practices, Bank priorities, and data-driven insights.
  • Research and Quality Assurance: Offer comprehensive support in research, proofreading, editing, and maintaining the quality of various communication materials.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. A university degree, in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience, may be accepted in lieu of a Master's degree.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of directly relevant experience, with a focus on corporate communications (must include 2+ years experience developing and executing strategic internal communications plans to support organization initiatives).
  • Desirable Skills: Experience in the financial services, capital markets or development sector is highly desirable.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Solid organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills. Ability to thrive in team environments, with a strong understanding of diversity and other cultures.
