About the Role

Care Plus New Jersey is seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team in providing outpatient therapeutic services to adults, children, and families. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in increasing stabilization, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring departmental goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document service outcomes in accordance with Care Plus and payer policies
  • Assess and evaluate clients at intake, during treatment, and at discharge
  • Provide supportive interventions, including case management and link to community resources
  • Respond to clients in crisis situations
  • Plan and communicate discharge/aftercare/transfer plans for clients
  • Assist clients with concrete services and advocacy
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work or behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year of work experience counseling substance use and/or co-occurring populations
  • MCO panel eligibility, as applicable
  • Prof. License as required by the program's requirements (LAC, LSW, and/or LCADC)
  • A valid driver's license and must be insurable by the agency's automobile insurance
