CADC Counselor

CarePlus New Jersey seeks a highly skilled and compassionate CADC Counselor to provide support and assistance to our multidisciplinary staff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering phone requests for service, responding to walk-in requests, and conducting phone and face-to-face screenings.
You will also be responsible for completing intakes and necessary documentation, making appointments for services, researching available resources, and providing support to group facilitators.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of addiction recovery principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to multidisciplinary staff
- Answer phone requests for service and respond to walk-in requests
- Conduct phone and face-to-face screenings
- Complete intakes and necessary documentation
- Make appointments for services and research available resources
- Provide support to group facilitators
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of 270 hours of alcohol and drug education
- Valid driver's license and must be insurable by the agency's automobile insurance
