Urology General Surgery Registered Nurse PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Urology General Surgery team at Medical City Dallas. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience.
