JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary

The Quality Control Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet established standards of quality and compliance. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining the integrity of the inspection process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct thorough inspections on various components to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Execute source inspections at different facilities to uphold compliance.
  • Document inspection findings and maintain organized records of all inspection-related documents.
  • Review received inspection records for adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of inspection and measurement tools.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any non-compliant parts.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by management.
  • Adhere to all company policies and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma, GED, or a relevant combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Certification in non-destructive examination testing at level II is advantageous.
  • Experience in dimensional inspection is essential.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years in a quality assurance role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000/APIQ1 standards is a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality management programs is beneficial.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Personal transportation to and from the workplace is necessary.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
