Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Italian Clerk to join our team at Hy-Vee, Inc. As an Italian Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and friendly customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, using a cash register and handling customer payments.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, including pizza, salads, and other menu items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
