About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Trader to join our team at MiQ Digital. As a key member of our programmatic trading team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of MiQ's largest clients, ensuring optimal performance and pacing.
  • Setup campaigns for success from day one, utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills to analyze complex data sets.
  • Troubleshoot campaign challenges and implement campaign optimizations within DSPs.
  • Work across multiple technology platforms, including DSPs, Internal BI, Ad servers, and Attribution.
  • Client Reporting and optimization commentary, providing actionable insights to drive business growth.
  • Lead weekly Pod forecasting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and planning.
  • Project Management: Stay focused and contribute to projects, organizing stakeholders and multiple milestones.
  • Provide avails, pricing, and strategy recommendations for new campaigns.
  • Partner with the trading team to enhance internal tools and processes.
  • Be a key stakeholder, providing feedback and testing new Trading products to drive future enhancements.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders, building relationships and finding solutions across differences.
  • Build great relationships with the sales and account management team on your commercial pod.
  • Work with other commercial teams to deliver custom client solutions.
  • Mentor and train junior members of the team.
  • Be a point of escalation for other team members prior to management.
  • Communication: Provide crisp and clear communication to external partners/clients or internal stakeholders, flexing communication style to persuade others and influence positive outcomes.
  • Explain strategy and optimizations to internal and external partners.
  • Articulate to clients how MiQ's Trading technology and expertise sets us apart.
Requirements
  • Experience with Xandr, DV360, or TTD DSPs.
  • 4+ years of programmatic trading experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working on performance campaigns (e.g., CPA).
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience.
  • Experience across Display, OLV, CTV.
  • Analytical skills are essential.
  • Experience with large datasets in Excel and BI tools.

Pay Transparency: For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At MiQ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $90,000-$100,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York City as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not take into account our bonus and commission structures. Regardless of location, candidates can expect during the first few conversations with MiQ's Talent team and Hiring Managers to share any approved budget and details on our competitive bonus and commission packages.
