About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Trader to join our team at MiQ Digital. As a Senior Trader, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of our largest clients and ensuring that all are performing and pacing optimally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery: Accomplish tasks on time and to a high quality, managing different deadlines and priorities.
  • Manage a portfolio of MiQ's largest clients and ensure all are performing and pacing optimally.
  • Set up campaigns to succeed from day one.
  • Analyze complex data sets to make decisions to beat client goals.
  • Troubleshoot campaign challenges.
  • Implement campaign optimizations within the DSPs.
  • Work across multiple technology platforms, including DSPs, Internal BI, Ad servers, and Attribution.
  • Client Reporting and optimization commentary.
  • Lead weekly Pod forecasting process.
  • Project Management: Stay focused and contribute to projects, organizing stakeholders and multiple milestones.
  • Provide avails, pricing, and strategy recommendations for new campaigns.
  • Partner with the trading team to enhance internal tools and processes.
  • Be a key stakeholder and provide feedback on new Trading products to drive future enhancements.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders, build relationships, and work across differences to find solutions.
  • Build great relationships with the sales and account management team on your commercial pod.
  • Work with other commercial teams to deliver custom client solutions.
  • Mentor and train junior members of the team.
  • Be a point of escalation for other team members prior to management.
  • Communication: Provide crisp and clear communication to external partners/clients or internal stakeholders, flexing communication style to persuade others and influence positive outcomes.
  • Explain strategy and optimizations to internal and external partners.
  • Articulate to clients how MiQ's Trading technology and expertise sets us apart.
Requirements
  • Experience with Xandr, DV360, or TTD DSPs.
  • 4+ years of programmatic trading experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working on performance campaigns (e.g., CPA).
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience.
  • Experience across Display, OLV, CTV.
  • Analytical skills are essential.
  • Experience with large datasets in Excel and BI tools.
  • A start-up mindset.
