Role Summary: The Sleep Study Technician is responsible for conducting and interpreting Polysomnograms (sleep studies).

Qualifications

Education: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with enrollment in an accredited Clinical Polysomnography program within 90 days of employment. Experience as a Medical Assistant, EEG technician, EMT, or nursing aide is preferred.

Credentials: Must obtain RPSGT credential within 3 years of employment.

New Mexico Medical Board Polysomnographic Technician license is required within 90 days of hire.

Current BLS certification is mandatory at the time of hire.
