The S.T. Wooten Corporation is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing plant and equipment maintenance, repairs, and new construction.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. You will work with various types of heavy equipment, including aggregate equipment, and perform tasks such as welding, grinding, and bolting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Repair and replace worn or damaged parts, using tools such as welders, grinders, and torches.
- Inspect and test equipment after repair to ensure proper functionality and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address equipment issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of welding, grinding, and other relevant technical skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Working Conditions
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and oil. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory, and regular breaks are provided to maintain physical health.
Salary Range
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
