Project Lead Opportunity

Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a product development company in the Raleigh, North Carolina, area to hire a Project Lead for their engineering team. In this role, you'll oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring quality and innovation while guiding and mentoring a team of engineers.

We are seeking a seasoned project leader with a strong technical background in hardware development. You'll have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects across various industries while working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate product development efforts and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Translate customer requirements into detailed product specifications and create comprehensive project plans and timelines.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, identifying and mitigating risks throughout the development process.
  • Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and conduct regular project reviews and status updates, communicating progress and addressing any challenges.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design files, testing plans, and validation reports.
  • Participate in proposal development for new projects, working closely with sales and engineering teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the product development industry.
  • Strong technical background in hardware development, with a focus on handheld devices, industrial devices, or wearable electronics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with clients, team members, and stakeholders while leading and motivating teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Agile).
