Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day plant activities utilizing tesa KPI's, including quality control, shipping, receiving, production, and inventory.
  • Manage a budget totaling over $35 million annually, including fixed, material, and capital expenditures.
  • Lead workforce organization and development, aligning staff with corporate standards to achieve company objectives collaboratively.
  • Oversee manufacturing operations and guarantee compliance and process harmonization with tesa policies and procedures for risk mitigation.
  • Establish proper organization and staffing, with staff members receiving thorough training, motivation, and direction according to corporate standards, policies, and principles.
  • Address escalated customer questions and concerns.
  • Maintain continuous contact with the marketing and sales organization to ensure that market needs can be met by production.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business (engineering or a related field).
  • 6+ years of experience in manufacturing operations management.
  • Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work in a global, compliant corporate environment.
  • Strong skill set in areas of time management, self-organizational, and project management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Prior use of ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • ISO/TS 16949 knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience in 5S methodology and 6-sigma methodology (preferred).
