Position Overview

This role represents the second tier in the Event Series positions.

Positions within the Event Series encompass various essential functions that contribute to the smooth execution of events. Responsibilities include assisting clients and attendees before, during, and after events, verifying admission tickets, guiding guests to different areas within the venue, and supporting facility management in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all attendees.
Key Responsibilities

  • Exceed guest expectations during events.
  • Welcome attendees with a friendly demeanor; maintain a positive attitude while on duty.
  • Exhibit courteous, respectful, and clear communication, presenting information in an understandable manner.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Verify identification for guests ordering alcohol who appear 35 years or younger.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, providing appropriate change.
  • Balance cash at the end of shifts and return funds to the designated personnel.
  • Collect tickets or count guests as they enter the venue; monitor access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Assist guests in locating their seats; provide directions to various facility areas.
  • Prepare and restock concession stands as necessary.
  • Support custodial staff with large-scale cleanup after events.
  • Communicate any housekeeping issues or potential hazards to operational staff.
  • Participate in training sessions organized by the company.
  • Manage crowd control as needed.
  • Be flexible with scheduling based on the event calendar.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not entail any supervisory duties.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
Currently enrolled in an educational program pursuing a High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)

Licensing Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License or Identification as required by State law.
  • May need to obtain a Liquor License.
