This role is pivotal in overseeing the procurement, maintenance, and organization of surgical instruments within the sterile processing department as well as supporting various hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the ordering and repair processes for surgical instruments.
  • Ensure efficient operation and management of the sterile processing department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill their instrument needs.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited program in sterile processing or surgical technology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in surgical services, with at least 3 years specifically in sterile processing.
  • Current certification as a Sterile Processing Technician is required.
  • Preference for candidates holding a Surgical Instrument Specialist Certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in surgical instrumentation with a minimum of 5 years of experience with specialized equipment.
