About the Role:

As a Surgical Technologist with Healthcare Staffing Plus, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your expertise in sterilizing equipment and instruments, stocking supplies, and preparing patients for surgery will be essential in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

Maintain asepsis and prepare sterile operating rooms for surgeries
Sterilize equipment and instruments according to established protocols
Stock adequate supplies for surgery and maintain inventory
Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites
Provide support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies
Track surgical supplies and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

BLS and ACLS certification
National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong technical skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
Minimum of three years of current Certified Surgical Tech experience
Graduate from a fully accredited Certified Surgical Tech program
Active unencumbered Certified Surgical Technologist state license
One year of Epic experience
