Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Claims Property Team Manager to join our team. As a key member of our homeowner claims unit, you will be responsible for coordinating, directing, and overseeing homeowner claims activities. This leadership role requires strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and technical best practices.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $94,900.00 - $126,500.00 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of homeowner representatives, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with unit management to communicate goals, reinforce behavior, and monitor progress towards objectives.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in committees and projects that support the organization's goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4-6 years of property claims handling experience, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of insurance codes, regulations, building codes, and ordinances.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, delegation, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead change, influence others, and represent the organization effectively.
