Job Summary:The Technical Support Specialist will provide exceptional technical assistance and training to end-users across the company. This role involves procuring hardware for the IT department, working on critical projects, and maintaining assigned equipment and software.
Key Responsibilities:- Resolve complex technical issues, configurations, and system performance concerns.
- Maintain assigned equipment, software, and technical data in accordance with department policy.
- Perform hardware research and purchasing for IT department needs.
- Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks, file servers, and other related equipment.
- Investigate problems, identify their source, and implement solutions.
- Provide training and instruction for system users on operating systems and applications.
- Maintain the confidentiality of digital information.
- Participate as a resource for any department requiring technical advice.
- Provide Helpdesk services, including call handling, logging, and problem resolution.
- Participate in mandatory on-call support rotation schedule.
- Microsoft 365 with advanced management tools (E5) such as Intune and MDM.
- Microsoft Teams communication for telephony, chat, and collaboration.
- Virtual servers hosted with Azure and AWS.
- SAP S4/HANA on RISE.
- 5+ years of work experience on a technical support/help desk team.
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS and configuration with exchange, active directory, and other enterprise applications.
- Ability to read and comprehend written technical information manuals.
- Demonstrated ability of strong customer relationship skills and problem resolution.
- Certifications such as A+, Network +, MCP, and/or MCSA a plus.
- French language skills a plus (but not required).
