Job Summary:

The Technical Support Specialist will provide exceptional technical assistance and training to end-users across the company. This role involves procuring hardware for the IT department, working on critical projects, and maintaining assigned equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve complex technical issues, configurations, and system performance concerns.
  • Maintain assigned equipment, software, and technical data in accordance with department policy.
  • Perform hardware research and purchasing for IT department needs.
  • Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks, file servers, and other related equipment.
  • Investigate problems, identify their source, and implement solutions.
  • Provide training and instruction for system users on operating systems and applications.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of digital information.
  • Participate as a resource for any department requiring technical advice.
  • Provide Helpdesk services, including call handling, logging, and problem resolution.
  • Participate in mandatory on-call support rotation schedule.
Technical Requirements:
  • Microsoft 365 with advanced management tools (E5) such as Intune and MDM.
  • Microsoft Teams communication for telephony, chat, and collaboration.
  • Virtual servers hosted with Azure and AWS.
  • SAP S4/HANA on RISE.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of work experience on a technical support/help desk team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft OS and configuration with exchange, active directory, and other enterprise applications.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written technical information manuals.
  • Demonstrated ability of strong customer relationship skills and problem resolution.
  • Certifications such as A+, Network +, MCP, and/or MCSA a plus.
  • French language skills a plus (but not required).
