Behavioral Support Specialist

Clarvida - Washington is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Peer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will work closely with clients aged 18+ who reside in long-term care facilities, providing essential behavioral support during a challenging time in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide education and support to clients on symptom management and community resources.
- Engage clients in identifying their overall goals, personal supports, and strategies to reduce self-stigma related to their diagnosis.
- Advocate for clients' perspectives, preferences, and treatment goals within team meetings.
- Offer transportation to clients as needed.
- High School Diploma
- Washington State HCA-approved Peer Support training certificate
- Eligible for Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor credential
- Valid Driver's license in good standing, and auto insurance
- $19-$21/hour
- Flexible schedule
- Flexible work environment - work from home with travel to clients in the community
