This is a 24-month contract position, working 5 days a week onsite in Bakersfield, CA.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PC hardware specialist to support a robust Microsoft-based network running Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, etc. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PC, desktop, laptop, and tablet hardware and software, as well as experience with asset management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and move assets within and between facilities
  • Stage equipment for build/image activity
  • Interview clients for pre-deployment asset discovery
  • Execute equipment replacement activity
  • Update asset management systems
  • Monitor daily activity and perform system backups and data recovery
  • Resolve network communication problems independently
  • Monitor disk capacity and network security
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience with PC support, including deployment and imaging
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Well-versed in installing Windows, software, and applications, including SCCM experience
  • Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience developing a multi-week deployment plan
  • Extensive experience in profile management and data transfer
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work onsite 5 days a week
Preferred Skills:
  • Mac experience is a plus
Compensation:

$20/hr to $23/hr, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
