Position Summary

ALL Crane Service, LLC is in search of a dedicated Service Technician & Mechanic specializing in Truck & Trailer services. This role is a full-time, non-exempt position that offers a comprehensive benefits package. A sign-on bonus is available after a successful employment period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and various construction machinery.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues, making necessary adjustments and modifications to components.
  • Interpret and utilize operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints, and technical schematics.
  • Engage positively with service writers, supervisors, parts departments, and clients.
  • Document actions taken during service and repairs accurately.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools effectively or undergo training for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations consistently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possession of a basic set of mechanic's hand tools is required.
  • Capability to work safely around moving machinery and in varying temperature and humidity conditions.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prior experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks is advantageous.

Manufacturer's training will be a crucial aspect of this role. Candidates must be eager to learn about new computer, electronic, and hydraulic systems, comply with evolving safety guidelines, and maintain certifications in various areas of the field, including assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting.
