Overview:
Lead the growth of volume, market share, and profitability within key accounts on an annual, monthly, customer, and brand basis. Cultivate and manage relationships with decision-makers responsible for purchasing in multi-unit accounts. Collaborate closely with Trade Development, field sales teams, retailers, and Division Managers to oversee business operations and programs.

Responsibilities:


Maintain key accounts by effectively communicating marketing strategies, fostering and nurturing relationships with influential stakeholders in multi-unit accounts, showcasing new products, executing promotional events as necessary, and conducting business reviews as directed by management.

Guide the creation of annual plans for key accounts that articulate agreed-upon brand and consumer strategies while ensuring the achievement of business objectives.

Implement strategies that enhance the position of the company as the preferred wholesaler in the account's planning processes.

Educate account personnel on priority brands through training seminars and insights into business and category trends as appropriate.

Oversee and assess all promotional expenditures by account priority based on performance, implementing corrective actions to drive business growth.


Assist in crafting account-specific presentations and setting targets for volume, profitability, distribution, and merchandising promotion execution.


Actively engage in strategy briefing sessions, continuously providing feedback on program implementations, effectiveness, and generating innovative solutions when necessary.

Drive volume and profitability growth within multi-unit accounts.
Gather and relay updated competitive market information.


Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company pricing and product programming on a monthly basis by reviewing and keeping accurate records.

Analyze competitive pricing and product programming by examining pricing schedules and surveying accounts.


Manage supplier surveys by planning routes, pre-surveying accounts, conducting surveys with suppliers, summarizing findings, executing follow-ups, and coordinating with Sales Representatives as needed.


Establish and communicate merchandising objectives aligned with brand priorities for each account by understanding company goals and defining point-of-sale needs for suppliers.

Produce point-of-sale materials, including signage and promotional lists, by leveraging digital capabilities.


Ensure optimal brand visibility within accounts by adhering to management-defined standards and utilizing effective and current point-of-sale materials when appropriate.

Support the event-marketing manager in organizing, soliciting, and executing events and brand promotions to enhance brand visibility.

Additional duties, as assigned by the supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or equivalent training and experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales

Proficient in PC skills, including MS Office and various computer programs, particularly presentation software

Must be a results-driven professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, employing diplomacy and discretion, along with excellent customer service abilities

Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently or collaboratively, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines

Strong analytical and reporting skills

Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving abilities

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a supervisory role

Relevant cross-functional experience (finance, operations, IT, HR, project management, etc.)

Possession of a valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to remain stationary at times; communicate effectively, and operate a computer and telephone.

Competencies:
May assist in coordinating the work of junior team members.

Resolves varied and non-routine issues, undertaking analysis and investigation to find solutions.
